Open app.shyvya.com in the browser first. Then follow the steps for your device.
Android phone or tablet
- Open app.shyvya.com in Chrome.
- Tap Install app when the bar appears. If it does not, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Open Shyvya from your home screen and sign in.
iPhone or iPad
- Open app.shyvya.com in Safari (not another browser).
- Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Open Shyvya from your home screen and sign in. Allow notifications if asked.
Windows, Mac or Chromebook
- Open app.shyvya.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or the ⋮ menu, then Install Shyvya.
- Open Shyvya from your desktop or Start menu and sign in.
Quickest on a phone

Point your phone camera at the code. It opens the Shyvya sign-in page. Then follow the steps above to add it to your home screen.

Questions
Before you install.
Is it free to install?
Yes. Installing the Shyvya app costs nothing and needs no app store account. Using it needs a restaurant account: the owner adds you as staff, or Shyvya sets up the restaurant for you.
Why is it not in the Play Store or App Store?
It does not need to be. Shyvya runs in the browser and installs from there, so every fix reaches everyone straight away with no store review. Store versions may follow later.
Does it work without internet?
The billing and kitchen screens open without internet and keep orders safe on the device, then send them when the connection returns. A few things, such as online payments, need internet.
How does it update?
By itself. Open the app and you have the newest version. You never download updates.
How do I remove it?
Press and hold the Shyvya icon and choose remove or uninstall, like any other app. Your restaurant's data stays safe on the server.
Which browser should I use?
Chrome or Edge on Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebook. Safari on iPhone and iPad. Samsung Internet also works.
